Five assistant professor positions in section 27 (Computer Science) are open at the University of Paris-Sud 11 (2010 campaign): two are at the Orsay Faculty (UFR) of Sciences, one of which is accompanied by an INRIA Chair, and three are at the Orsay Institute of Technology (IUT).
Individuals recruited for these positions will be integrated into the Laboratory for Computer Science (Laboratoire de Recherche en Informatique (LRI) - http://www.lri.fr/). The current director is Philippe Dague (Philippe.Dague@lri.fr).

The individual recruited on the University of Paris-Sud-INRIA Chair will be integrated into one of the eight joint research groups at LRI and the INRIA Saclay–Île-de-France Research Center:
ALCHEMY, AMIB (BioInfo), GRAND-LARGE (Parall), HIPERCOM, IN-SITU, LEO (IASI and a part of BD), PROVAL and TAO (A&O).

This position is intended for candidates who have several years of research experience beyond the thesis and have demonstrated mobility, i.e. have conducted research in different labs in different cities.
The successful candidate will receive a bonus of excellence for five years, with an allowance for operating expenses and one third of the normal teaching load, within the framework of a delegation from INRIA.
